Activities

We run a wide range of clubs, both at lunch time and after school. See our Clubs page for more details.

Out of School Trips

Each year, day visits are arranged for classes to link with the children’s classroom studies, for example to Hatfield House, Celtic Harmony Camp, the Cuffley Outdoor Centre, Linton Zoo, Duxford, Woodside Animal Farm and other places of educational interest.

We also arrange a residential trip for Year 6 children which takes place in the summer term, at the Kingswood Centre on the Isle of Wight. We feel that these visits are an important part of the children’s education, and we do ask parents to make voluntary contributions towards the cost of such activities.

Sports

The School’s Boys’ and Girls’ football teams play “friendly” matches against other local Primary School teams during the Autumn and Spring terms, both 6-a-side and 7-a-side. In addition, the School enters the local 6-a-side competition, and the Stevenage Cup competition.

The School netball team also plays in a local league throughout the season, culminating in the Stevenage Netball Tournament.

We are part of Stevenage Sporting Futures which enriches our sports curriculum and provides opportunities for our pupils to try a range of activities and competitions.
